Born to a Lithuanian mother and an American father, Akiane Kramarik (b. July 9, 1994) was born underwater at home in a shack on the edge of a cornfield in Mount Morris, Illinois.
Kramarik has been named an indigo girl, a child prodigy, a spiritual artist and a poet who from the early age of 4 began having otherwordly visions and started painting profusely.
A self-taught painter, Kramarik has said that she began having visions from heaven and especially from Jesus Christ. Her parents were agnostic and atheist and later converted to Christianity by just observing her paintings and listening to her stories about God.
Though once in while she would share many details about the self-aware
universes she was seeing, most of her spiritual experiences, however,
she kept secret, so as not to overwhelm her parents.
"It is not time yet for you to know what I see. When that time comes, then you will know," she said.
In these two videos, one shot earlier this year during The Katie Couric Show, Kramarik is already 18 years old and she tells Katie Couric about her early visions that are slowly fading away as she grows old.
At the age of 10, a lovely and amused Kramarik spoke to Oprah Winfrey in 2003.
Kramarik has completed more than 200 works to date some of them selling for hundreds of thousands of dollars and some up to $3M, making her the most successful living visual art prodigy in the world.
Featured in more than a 100 international TV shows with prestigious TV personalities such as Lou Dobbs, Glenn Beck, Peter Jennings, Diane Sawyer, the "Dream Child Phenomenom" has been also featured on countless print and online publications.
In painting "Mother's Love" Kramaric wrote that she painted "Mary in a silky blue robe surrounded by a background palette
of cerulean, cobalt and Persian blue."
"This is how I interpreted the
vision of Baby Jesus and his beautiful young mother. The robe connects
both of them. Mary is the symbol of love, warmth, affection, tenderness and devotion and her story is the story of love and faith.
Mary with her tender love embraced Jesus at birth, embraced him on the
Cross and embraced him on his resurrection. That is why the lower hand
in a shadow is her witnessing the crucifixion, and the upper hand in
light is her witnessing both the birth and the resurrection," said Akiane Kramarik, the spiritual artist for whom the meaning of the shared self, is the meaning of wisdom and love.

Nacida de una madre lituana y padre estadounidense, Akiane Kramarik (n. 9 de julio de 1994) nació en un parto bajo agua en su casa –al lado de una cabaña– ubicada al borde de un campo de maíz en Mount Morris, Illinois.
A Kramarik la han llamado niña índigo, niña prodigio, artista y poeta espiritual que desde la temprana edad de 4 comenzó a tener visiones de otro mundo y comenzó a pintar profusamente.
